When I arrived on the morning of this mountain wedding on the Bühlberg, above Lenk in Bern, the car thermometer read 9.

9 degrees, and this at the beginning of August! Martina and Chrigu had planned their outdoor ceremony and reception. There was a plan B, but you don't get married in the mountains to be indoors the whole time.

The Bühlberg offers a stunning mountain panorama. But there was no sign of it that morning. It was shrouded in fog and cold, very cold.

But the couple didn't let it bother them and simply laughed off the fog.

At the beginning of the ceremony, it was still very cloudy, but gradually the clouds parted, the sun broke through more and more, and the Bühlberg revealed its most beautiful side. During the reception, everyone enjoyed the warming rays of the sun; the atmosphere was wonderfully warm and relaxed.
... Only when it got dark in the evening and the guests went indoors did the weather change again and it started to rain.

This was yet another positive experience that shows that the weather doesn't matter for a good atmosphere on your wedding day. It's always the people who create the atmosphere and emotions.
